A large majority of the animation was just videos in a iPad. The lip sync on both of the characters were poor. Try looking at some mouth templates to see what they look like while making certain sounds.

Nice, most of this was very good the only thing that I can say that you should improve on is the audio, like in the opening scene, sometimes the character's voices were hard to hear because the music overshadowed it. You can easily change the volume of a track if you use a program like Audacity.
